AFT-Ag: the ease-of-use of AFT with AGILENT

A major revolution in Eldig testing’s ATE line: a new AFT line AFT-Ag model is now available.
The new AFT-Ag interfaces AGILENT, while maintaining the same software concept of the AFT line; users can run test programs that are as quick and easy to set up as with the AFT project table structure.
Two AFT-Ag versions have been created: one with AGILENT 34970A and the other with AGILENT 34980A.

The 34970A version can use the following modules:

  • 34901A, a 22-channel multiplexer, used for the connection to the internal DMM of the 34970A, for AC/DC current and voltage measurements on each channel, 2 and 4 wire resistance measurements and frequency and period measurements
  • 34903A, a 20-channel switch module, each operating an NC / NO relay.

The 34980A version uses the following modules:

  • 34921A, a 44-channel multiplexer, used for the connection to the internal DMM of the 34980A , for AC/DC current and voltage measurements on each channel, 2 and 4 wire resistance measurements and frequency and period
  • 34937A, a 32-channel switch module, each operating an NC / NO relay.
  • 34951A, a D/A converter with 4 independent, programmable channels to obtain voltages, currents, sine, triangular and square wave forms and ramps.

Dedicated resources can be used with both versions to directly programme the instruments with SPCI and to check responses received.

All common AFT line resources are available, such as:
• serial interface programming with Serial Msg, Serial Response, Bytes
• time management with Wait Time and Max Time
• management of manual intervention with Manual Operation
• running of external applications, with Run Application
• acquisition and control of images with Eldig VISION
• etc.
